Mabel and how it all started (part 3)

There is no discussion. This is one of the best songs of one of the best albums of the last decades. If you have any doubts you just have to listen to it again.

I was 20 years old when “Grace” by Jeff Buckley was published but I remember the first time I listened to this album like it was yesterday. I remember the rain and I remember the loneliness.

It completely changed my way of listening to music, of feeling music. His special way of singing, his unique voice… There is something overwhelming in his songs.

Music had never caused something like that before within me. His songs have always been an umbrella during the storm, his songs relieve sadness, tear you apart and comfort you at the same time.

It’s one of my favorite albums of all time. I listen to it over and over again and I am forced to return to it from time to time as if there I were able to find the answers to all my existential doubts. I close my eyes and with extraordinary ease I come back mentally and emotionally to that lonely and rainy night and to the first notes of Mojo Pin.
