There are thousands of songs that I like more and that even ended up having a greater impact on me; but listening to this song when I was a kid brought out this hidden musical part of me.
It is a simple song, but it’s not silly; with a huge dosis of positivism. It knows how to conquer the listener. It is not a difficult song to listen to, and it’s that simplicity that seduces you. As a musician it was a necessary step for me to say that I can do something with music as well. My music has ended up being 1% of Donovan’s quality; but it’s something.
I’ve seen him live twice and this song always improves a lot live. It is always received with high expectations and much love in his shows.
