No poetry in death

Death is not poetic. Death “is not to sing about, it is not to turn it into art,” says MOUNT EERIE but he crosses our hearts with this simple, moving and uncomfortable song. There are no catchy refrains, he does not fall into sentimentality, there are no concessions of any kind. It is a kind of newspaper article in song, a chronicle of his mourning where he struggles to overcome his pain and that shows us the fragility of the human condition in all its rawness.
